Types Of Bodies:

Different types of body types react differently to training. The various body types are explained below.

Ectomorphs

The basic distinguishing characteristics of this body type are:

  • Long arms and legs
  • Long and narrow hand and feet
  • Long and thin muscles and narrow chests
  • Short upper body

Muscles develop slowly and weight gain is an issue for people of this body type. Ectomorphs should keep up their calories with supplements if they are body building. They can gain mass by doing mass building exercises.

Mesomorphs

The basic distinguishing characteristics of this body type are:

  • Long upper body
  • Large chest
  • More muscles and strength

People of this body type can put on weight faster. Their muscles will also grow fast and proportionately. They should eat a balanced diet with lesser fat.

Endomorphs

The basic distinguishing characteristics of this body type are:

  • Short neck
  • Round face
  • Wide waist girth
  • More fat in the body

People belonging to this body type have a tendency to put on body fat at a fast rate. Exercises should be focused to keep the fat away. A balanced diet is important to keep endomorphs in shape.

Three Quick and Easy Fat Loss Tips

Losing excess fat doesn't have to be difficult. If you are looking to drop a bit of extra fat, then give these three quick and easy fat loss suggestions a try.

  1. Drink WATER: and lots of it. This is the simplest but maybe the most effective thing you can do to aide fat loss. Forget about soft drinks (even the diet ones are loaded with salt) and juice (too many carbs). Good old H2O is the only way to go.
  2. Switch from a diet plan focused around carbohydrates (breads, pastas, fruits, etc.) to one focused around lean sources of protein (egg whites, skinless chicken and turkey breast, fish, whey based protein powders and MRPs, etc.)
